Hali Sweater (EN)
The Hali sweater is a wonderfully soft and relaxed knit designed to fit into every knitter’s wardrobe. Worked with chunky 6 mm needles, the sweater knits up quickly and is also suitable for beginner knitters.
The Hali sweater is knitted using an airy aran/worsted yarn. The soft yarn gives the sweater a beautiful appearance and feel. When worn, Hali feels like a warm hug and has a lovely fluffy texture. The grey sample is knitted with a single strand of Viking Garn Alpaca Bris. The brown sample is knitted with two strands held together using Drops Air and Drops Kid Silk
Mohair.
The raglan-sleeved Hali sweater is worked top-down, beginning with the neckline ribbing. It is knitted using the raglan technique, which makes the sweater quick to knit and completely seamless. The Hali sweater can also be knitted with other aran/worsted weight yarns. If you want to maintain the sweater’s softness, good alternatives include: Sandnes Garn Kos, Adlibris Alpaca Cloud, Novita Halaus and Gepard Garn Puno. If you want to add extra fluffiness, knit the sweater with two strands, pairing an
aran/worsted-weight yarn with silk mohair. The silk mohair strand can also be omitted if desired.
